Our work is primarily performed in occupied facilities, requiring careful planning, coordination, and execution to minimize disruption while ensuring safety and long-term performance. We focus not only on repairing & restoring structural integrity after a failure(s) been identified, but also on identifying structural issues before they become critical problems. Many buildings constructed from the 1920s through the 1960s—featuring wood bowstring trusses, heavy-timber framing, and early-generation glue-laminated beams—now face stresses far beyond their original design intent. Additional roof loads, long-term deflection, environmental exposure, and outdated construction methods all contribute to degradation that can compromise safety and functionality. SPS is uniquely equipped to address all these issues.
